Why governance matters

Behind every local Gencare hub, someone has to hold the whole standard together.

It’s easy to focus only on the local team you meet — and that’s exactly how it should feel. But consistent quality, safety and accountability across every region doesn’t happen by accident. Someone has to own the NDIS registration, the audits, the policies, the incident reporting, the training standards — for every hub, every time.

That’s what our head office on Flinders Street does. It’s not where support happens; it’s what makes sure the support that happens everywhere else meets one, unwavering standard.

The local hub is where you’re supported. The head office is why you can trust it.

Head Office

The registered home behind every care hub.

Level 8, 276 Flinders Street is Gencare’s registered head office — the administrative and governance home behind every regional care hub across Victoria. It’s where our leadership team, quality and compliance functions, and central operations are based.

This isn’t a drop-in support location — participant care happens locally, through our regional hubs and in people’s homes and communities. The head office exists so that whichever hub you work with, you’re backed by the same registered standard, the same governance and the same accountability.

Our leadership and quality teams work from this office to set policy, run internal audits, manage NDIS Commission reporting, and support every regional hub with the training and systems they need — so a participant in Ballarat and a participant in Footscray receive support built on exactly the same foundation.
