What each status means
Every referral moves through the same clear stages. Here is what you are looking at when you check in.
Received
Your referral has arrived safely and is in our queue. You will already have a reference number (GC-YYYY-XXXXXX).
Assigned to a coordinator
A coordinator now owns your referral and is the person guiding it — and you — from here.
Assessment booked
We have arranged a time to talk properly about needs, goals and the right supports.
Onboarding
The match is made and we are setting everything up so support can begin.

Tracking FAQs
The most common questions about what your referral status means and what happens next.
We’ve got your referral safely and it’s in the queue with its reference number (GC-YYYY-XXXXXX). Nothing is needed from you yet — a coordinator will pick it up for review.
We’re assessing the referral to make sure we can provide the right supports. We may contact you or the referrer for a little more information at this stage.
A named coordinator now owns your referral and is your point of contact from here. They guide the referral — and you — through the next steps.
Assessment booked means we’ve arranged a time to talk properly about needs, goals and the right supports. Onboarding means the match is made and we’re setting everything up so support can begin — after which your referral shows as “Active”.
Most referrals are first reviewed within 1–2 business days. How quickly the later stages move depends on the plan, the supports needed and availability — your coordinator keeps you updated throughout.
